Median XL

Median XL is a mod for Diablo II that significantly alters the gameplay experience, changing some of the weaker aspects of the original title and adding a lot of new content, especially during its final stretch. The mod even includes several improvements, such as higher resolutions, support for D2DX (another popular mod), general interface improvements and lots of new keyboard shortcuts.

It is worth noting that to play Median XL you will first need to have Diablo II and its expansion, Lord of Destruction, installed. Thanks to this interesting new feature, you will be able to define the statistics you want to improve within each object thanks to the Mystic Orbs. You will also be able to customize your equipment as never before.

As if all these improvements were not enough, Median XL adds completely new regions to the game. You will be able to visit new realms of Hell, as well as new devastated cities, all of them from the original game lore (such as Duncraig or Toraja). In addition, many of these new areas will become especially important during the final stretch, which has been greatly expanded with fifty additional missions and several new bosses.

Median XL is an absolutely spectacular mod for Diablo II that manages to do something that in the 2000s probably seemed impossible: improve and expand one of the best ARPGs in history. The mod also has a colossal and very active online community, with numerous servers located on different continents, where special events are held from time to time. A real gift for fans of this Blizzard classic, who should not wait a second longer to download it.
